When the World Stayed Home was created by two speech-language pathologists from New York. Children are taken through an educational experience where they learn about the coronavirus, how to prevent the spread of germs, the purpose of staying home, and the many changes that have taken place as the world reopens. This story thoughtfully acknowledges the role that children played in overcoming the pandemic, while highlighting the importance of expressing gratitude to those who aided their community. As a bonus, this book includes scrapbook pages at the end for families to document their journey through this historic time.
